- April: New Orleans - American Association of Petroleum Geologists annual meeting; Rex gave a poster paper (watch the Search and Discovery link -- not active at posting time) and manned (personed?) the company booth.
- Early May: Rex to Dubai and Ras Al Kaiman, UAE, and Calgary on company business
- May-June: Rex and Rita to the Bay Area to visit Rex's mother, Louise, with a brief en route detour to Cheyenne to visit Rita's sister and family.
- Early June: Rex to southwest suburban London (Emma country?) for the company
- Mid-Late June: Rita joins daughter Beth for Alaska train and bus tour, and Carnival cruise to Vancouver.
- Late June-Early July: Rex and Rita to Winter Park
